On the 13th October 2020 President of the Irish Institute of Master Mariners, Capt Dermot Gray, presented the Don Curtis Award to Dmitri Jelezoglo. The award is sponsored by the Institute. Named after the late Don Curtis who was a popular and well-regarded member of the Irish Institute of Master Mariners. The award is presented annually in his memory to ‘the most deserving TDO Year 1 student’ as chosen by the staff of NMCI. Great day for it and well done to Dmitri.
