Deck Cadet Michael Moloney is the 2025 recipient of the Don Curtis Award. This award is sponsored annually by the Irish Institute of Master Mariners. The recipient is decided by the lecturing staff of the Nautical Studies Department at the NMCI having demonstrated all round excellent ability during their first year at college. It is presented during the annual awards ceremony at the National Maritime College of Ireland. The recipient also recipient also receives a certificate of Award and cadet membership of the IIMM.
